I was doing some research on cookies (as usual) and I tripped over this old Neiman Marcus myth about a chocolate chip cookie recipe. I vaguely remember hearing about it in the mall, during my time spent behind the counter, and this website makes some very good points about how the story misses on some facts. But the most prominent point is right there in the recipe.
